Recall

Posted in: PATA
Ted have given you great information on why they should be recalled. If their collective actions last night didn't fire you up to get those recall petitions signed you will only get more of this. They buy time and divert. They never solve the problems they only extend them. Call these people realy be this stupid? They must be on the take from someone.

More Recall info

Last night I was told that the city is trying to expand the existing sewer plant to allow for 4000 new homes. Remember Scyamore Creek and the Diley Farm are serviced by Canal Winchester. So 4000 new besids the two above mentioned projects. This sewer plant will now cost the sewer users $18.5 million. Who pays for that expandsion? the current residents of Pickerington that use the Pickerington sewer system. So if we pay no interest that means once that loan and plant is approved each of you will pay $20.50 per month more for your sewer service.

The only way this can be fixed is by stepping up the recall effort. Please let those sewer users in the city know what they are facing if they leave this bunch in charge of city hall any longer. Remember Fox, Wright, Parker, Maxey, and Postage.

Will the Community Authority stop this building? NO!

Do those five members above have any plans for slowing growth? NO!

Did the voters vote Maxey out once before? YES!

Did these five members of our government spend $150,000 of your money to fund a PAC to help the BIA annex lands from townships at much higher density? YES!

Has Fox and Maxey used City employees on City Time to promote their own political ambitions? YES!

Has Joyce Bushman spent money with no over sight by these five members of city government? YES!

Did DOug Parker state that they were elected to do what they please? YES! Does he truly believe his statement? YES! just look at his voting record.

Do we need a serious crime committed to do a recall? NO! Has this bunch caused damage to the school system and its funding? YES!

Did these five pass nearly 2000 final plats in Oct of 2002 knowing that issue 17 would pass (Remember the phone survey) in direct defience of the citizens of this city.

If these clowns don't go we will be buried in debt and our schools bankrupt. If you sit on your duff and do nothing then you are part of the problem.

Things are going well for me.

I'm with you. I've found very little resistence to the recall when I've been going around.

We can't wait to work these 'officials' out of the system over the next 2.5 yrs. The time is now or we'll be swimming in a cesspool of debt.

More reasons

Mr. Recall Petitioner:

You forgot a few things,

In 2001 the then Chairman of the Service Committee negotiated an incentive contract with Colonial Heating and Cooling. That very same year he was VOTED out of office and then re-appointed to fill John Washington?’s seat who suddenly resigned to make room for Maxey. Remember Maxey was re-appointed using emergency so the voters couldn?’t referendum the decision. (DENYING YOU YOUR RIGHTS TO PETITION). In early 2002 the city awarded a grant to Colonial Heating and Cooling and wouldn?’t produce any written contract. At the very same time that Craig Maxey was employed in the same building under the name of Design Plumbing. Both companies are owned by the same person. So did the city buy Maxey a job with Design Plumbing with the help of Fox, Parker, Wright and Postage?

When you look at the sewer plant expansion please keep in mind these same five allowed Joyce Bushman to negotiate and execute a contract with a local developer (8185 Farms) and in the process she gave away nearly $ 3 million of your tap fees and inspection fees. This was to give builders an incentive to annex and build on high density lots. Did this have any bearing on the 450 new students that are now attending the Pickerington Schools? Were these give a ways in our best interest?

Did they allow Joyce Bushman to spend over $17,000 on a Violet Festival float? How about the Gazebo? How about the funding to the Chamber of Commerce?

Have they allowed Joyce Bushman to speculate on land within our school district when she was in direct supervision of the very people making the land more valuable by re-zoning it? YES!

Did these five set up a TIF down along the rail line to build a bypass road around downtown? Did these five spend $ 750,000 of your money? I mean school district money to build this road? Do we have a bypass of downtown Pickerington toady? NO! Who benefited from this project? This project was started in 1997.

They are either crooks or stupid. No they can't be that stupid.
