Does that mean...

that city council has also taken over the YMCA, the Fairfield MRDD, the Humane Society and the AMA?

Just because it's listed on their community affairs web page doesn't mean anything other than it is a part of our community.

I gave you the quick shortcut there. If you wanted to get to that page from the MAIN city page, you would have had to click on a link called ''Tourism, Parks and Recreation, and Government Agencies.''

Now, Museums and festivals . . .tourism/culture Food Pantry . . .non profit.
MORPC, etc - governmental agency
YMCA, et al . . . parks and rec
Chamber of Commerce . . . obligatory on every page
Hickory Lakes . . . a for profit, party and event house, that is NOT open for the public unless you have booked an event there and paid some good dough. Now, what is it doing here? If it is just a part of OUR community, where is the listing for Blue Moon Catering, Planet Coffee and Tea, World Gym, Barnes and Noble? These are all also for profit, private companies that offer a paid services JUST like Hickory Lakes does. Or perhaps it is just a favor . . .if you believe it is on here as part of our community listing, I have some real estate I would like for you to look at.
