A word to the wise
I hope you can get it accomplished, Mr. Uher. It was tried about ten years ago to get impact fees through the legislature. Unfortunately, the developers who contributed to the levy fund managed to keep impact fees from becoming law. Also, you could probably influence more people if you would forget the Oakes situation. The Oakes have given more to the community by a great amount than your ''donation'' to the athletic program.
Why don't you try chastising the three board members who so willingly went along with the architect and superintendent, building a monument to stupidity(particularly the athletic facility).
Of course, you were probably on the front line encouraging them to ''do more'' for athletics. Why don't you also chastise them for not watching the finances a little more closely when other members of the board wanted to look at the financials.
