If the story on the Community Authority in the lastest rag is correct, we will have to build 4300plus homes to get enough money to build a new elementary in 2004 and a new middle school in 2013. That many homes could equate to 6600(at 1 and a half child per house)children to house in the one new elementary and middle school. Of course, there would be 1.5 million for the city for infrastructure and 7.1 million for athletics.
Did I read that right? if so the community authority should go the way of the expanded sewer plant. Also, did Ms. Bushman use her authority to hire the consultant at $15,000 without council's authorization?

It looks very suspicious when the Board of Ed
issues a press release stating that they are in
favor of controlled growth just 12 days before the levy while they have failed to address this
issue for the past 5 yrs. They must now be in fear that they won't receive the paltry $75k from
the BIA. Oh, right, the check's in the mail!

on August 5th. More $ is not the answer folks!
