Pickerington Area Taxpayers Alliance

I would like anyone suggestions or knowledge of members of the Ohio General Assembly who are in favor of responsible residential growth and oppose uncontrolled growth that may be interested in co-sponsoring legislation on giving school boards the authority to assess homebuilders impact fees to control growth.

I am particularily interested in anyone's knowledge of the members of the House of Representative's Ways & Means Committee. Tim Schaffer serves on that committee. Representatives Kilbane, Brinkman, Blasdel, Collier, Core, Gibb, Latta, McGregor, Niehasu, Raussen, Taylor are the majority members of that committee.

My understanding is now is the right time to introduce legislation to help schools without providing more State funding.

You've got to see to believe

When Mark takes a public stand against developers like Berry, Monebrake & the people that enable them - Lou Postage, Brian Fox, Craig Maxey, Bill Wright & Joyce - I'll believe.

So far, this year, over 2000 houses have been approved & zoned poised to be dumped into the City & where has he been? He hasn't carried or supported the Growth Control petitions, nor has he discussed this with local leaders that can impact this now. Not even a letter to the Editor.

By the time legislation is passed the homes will be built in Pickerington - maybe Liberty Township will benefit from this.
