The new home count in Pickerington is up to 334. Many of the permits had been submitted in March, but did not recieve approval until May. It would appear that Pickerington was holding permits.

Another 200 Plus waiting....
Dave Shaver said there is 200 plus waiting at tonights meeting. Whats another 600-700 homes in Pickerington anyway? Or another 600-1000 kids in our schools? The big question is whose pocket is Sabitino in to shoot down a vote. I'm glad he's voting in the best interest of the community. Could you imagine what things would be like if he was putting someone else's interests first? |

It's not just Sabatino...
In my opinion, although Sabatino was the deciding non-vote to send the moratorium legislation to the Service Committee and postpone a Council vote, Parker's absence and the yes votes on reading the legislation by Wright, Maxey and Fox were a sham. The whole show was (again, in my opinion) orchestrated prior to the Council meeting, and Sabatino was chosen to take the fall, since he's not up for re-election this year. Sadly, the community loses. The schools lose. The children lose. The residents stuck in traffic lose. And the builders win. Again. The good news is that there are some good pro-community candidates running for Pickerington City Council, PLSD Board of Education, and Violet Township Trustee in November. Together we can undo much of the damage the builders and their buddies have wreaked onto the ignored majority. Change is inevitable. Change is coming. By Wiser now |

Questions about Recall
1. When is Sabatino eligible for recall? 2. From a strategic standpoint would it be better to collect signatures on Wright, Parker & Sabatino & submit after the November Election? |
