Dear friends and neighbors,
The correct date of the next school board meeting is Monday, June 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Elementary. It is noted on the PATA calendar as June 23 at 7 p.m.
We will be discussing growth and we will public input into how we can control residential growth in Pickerington Local School District.
Please come and express your opinion.

I'm not that Bruce
I am not the Bruce who posted this message. But the information is correct and the invitation still stands. Also, I am reconsidering my vote on eliminating half-day kindergarten, so please let me know if you have information that I might find useful in that respect. The issue, for me, is whether going to an all-day every other day format would have a significant adverse effect on the kindergarten program. That is the questiont that I am researching.

Adverse Effect - Before Voting?
Mr. Rigelman,
I appreciate you changing your vote on all-day kindergarten. But why did you not ask for and research the adverse effect on kindergarten program BEFORE YOU VOTED!
You had tabled the issue since last December. Why did you not do your research before the vote on May 19th meeting?
As a board, it is now a no-win situation. You look like a bunch of fools if you reverse your decision and you look like bunch of fools if you don't. I prefer you look like a bunch of fools reversing your decision.
