Mr. Rigelman,
Instead of talking about men with ski masks with signs in front for Bank One during rush hour in November, 1997, why did you not answer the questions 150 parents asked last night?
Why did the board vote (4 to 1) against 72% of the parents opposed to all day, alternative day kindergarten structure for FY 04?
Why did the board ignore the advice of the outstanding kindergarten teachers and the advice of the Auditor of State recommendations on savings?
Did the board consider the impact of losing state dollars from 15% of the parents who will enroll their kids in private kindergarten structure?
Did the board consider that you won't save a dime on busing -- Laidlaw will raise your rates on other routes to cover the costs of their idle full-time workers who counted on bus routes during the noon hour?
Did the board ever consider you will look like a bunch of clowns paying for Laidlaw workers to sit around in the cafeteria drinking coffee instead of working busing kindergarten students during the noon hour? Just what did the board think that these full-time Laidlaw employees would do instead of busing kids in the middle of the day?
Yes, you have our government hard at work here in Pickerington ... paying idle employees and complaining that there is no one available to update the website.
Mr. Rigelman ... maybe instead of paying idle Laidlaw employees you could get one of them to update your website and teach you how to do it!
