I am happy that the PLSD Board made the decision to table the call of the fee's for Pay to Participate sports.

What we have seen is a BIA that desparately wants extra curricular activities in the school district they advertise in & have only come up with part of the money offered originally. $275,000 is still up in the air.

They'd like to see the Board commit & then spend tax dollars better spent elsewhere on sports. If they get an inch now we will never see the money.

This is only a Band Aid - where will we be next year?? We need a longer term solution for this than what the BIA has supplied.

Maybe a break from sports will get rid of the it's not what you can do, it's who you are mentality in our high school sports programs.

Win at any cost with no price to high - is not the school I want to attend.
