US33 Access Proposal Win/Win

Ted H., the plan is that of a private citizen. At ODOT's meeting citizens are welcome to comment on the concepts that ODOT and its consultant have developed, as discussed in the local paper, or they may propose new alternative concepts for evaluation and consideration by ODOT. ODOT will probably just have their concepts on the table at the meeting but the public does not have to limit its comments to those. The plan presented in this ongoing discussion provides for full access at both Pickerington and Allen roads with one interchange that is split in half and connected with frontage road(s) which also provide for access to adjacent lands for economic development while avoiding those that are already developed. Pickerington and Allen roads remain on their current alignment with their same level of access. If you like the plan take it and run with it. Sell it to the city and township if you like. If you don't like it that is fine come up with another concept and present it to ODOT. Bottom line is that it is my perception that many do not like the options that are on the table at this time and that the city, township and ODOT are currently not seeing eye to eye. Pursue a win win it will go over better than the win lose picture that is developing. The concept has worked before.
