Can you post specifics?

Sue,

I am going to our school board meeting this evening.

I am meet with a state legislature tomorrow to urge introducing legislation giving school boards direct power to control growth. Cut the BS, the middlemen, and the 'small-town' blame game.

If everyone wants to control growth for our schools sake, then doesn't it make sense to give the power directly to the board rather five or so unit of governments within the PLSD?

Who are you working with ??

Who are you working with ?? Tim Schaeffer??

By Sue
Yes, Tim Schaffer

Sue,

Yes, my appointment is with Tim.

I left with his assistant yesterday, the Columbus Dispatch article entitled 'Parade Marching into City of Great Debate' and how I'm urging the Ohio legislature for school district authority to assess impact fees and adjustments to HB 920.

In addition, I left for him an article from Ohio Business on Ohio's Fastest Growing Cities and a ranking of the top 50 boomtowns.

I believe we can together match legislators from those communities who are interested in helping their school districts and maybe co-sponsors of the legislation.

I believe the fact that Tim is on the powerful Ways & Means Committee where tax ideas go to will help tremendously. Sally Conway Kilbane from Rocky River chairs that committee.
