Who's Village Idiot is missing?

Now I understand that according to the US census that we are only allowed 2.3 village idiots. Clearly we have more than our share. There must be a number of towns and cities in Ohio that are missing their village idiots. We should start a missing village idiot campaign to return these missing village idiots back to their rightful homes. We will need volunteers. We can print up their pictures on large gum labels and sneak into other towns late at night and raid their milk cooler and replace the missing children pictures on their milk cartons with our gum labelled pictures of the missing idiots from Pickerington. We could provide a 800 number and we could have volunteers to drive them home.

So do we have any volunteers to drive the excessive number of idiots home? Some may not hold elective office.

Other could be equiped with one of those invisable fence collars that they train dogs with. If they came near City Hall they would get a correction. Maybe they would be required to wear them at City Council meetings and the residents be given those remote controls to give our sitting council members a ''slight correction.'' That may be a great idea. The only thing that would save them would be how long their batteries lasted.

Of course we could just hand out signs. Our village idiots could wear them as a warning to others.

I have heard more than one person tell me that these people can't be that stupid they must be crooked. That should be the coming debate are they crooked or just plain stupid???

That is probably a fair statement that there are a lot of idiots that hvae returned these people to office for years now. Clearly Randy Hughes was around for 16 years. Lou Postage is still here after 20 years. When they first were elected the district only had to worry about one development at a time. Thanks to Randall we have multiple developements to worry about now.

Lou Postage made is money from selling bonding insurance to these builders probably because council passed an ordinance to require bonding insurance. He has been retunred to office over that 20 years by the athletic boosters. At one time Lou was a big time fund raiser for them. I wonder where he raised him money from? Did any of them offer to take care of his real estate taxes?

Randell lives in a completely remodeled home on Church Street in Pickerington. Was he a crook or was he stupid?

In the early 80s Pickerington had a Mayor that went on vacation and when he returned there was a scandal about money missing from the Mayor's court funds. So the problem of crooks being elected to Pickerington City Hall is not a new one.

I think this fall the voters of Pickerington will finally get a chance to vote on honest people that have a real plan to reform the city and its politics. If the idiots are sitting at home on Tuesday nights then they can only do harm to themselves not the city. I believe once others become candidates and are sucessful in getting elected you will find our high idiot population melt away.

We then can look into that mirror and not fear the reflection we all now see.
