Where are school district's priorities?
Thursday, September 4, 2003
Well, well, well ... it looks like the good old PLSD has done it again.
After months of brainwashing the public with it's ''supposed'' needs, it got its way by playing upon the biggest fear of most parents: their children's safety. All was good in Picktown again -- until the school board decided that kids could walk up to two miles to school.
But hey, we've got football.
Where are the priorities? This is going to save $500,000. Why didn't you think of that when you built the infamous concession stand? Or the separate soccer stadium? Four softball fields? Two baseball fields?
Where are the priorities? It's time to find new leaders, both on the board and the adminstrators. It's blatantly obvious they do not have education as a top priority. It's time for a recall.
