How about the Letter to the Editor in the August 2 issue of the Cols. Dispatch by the Good Mayor Postage. You would have thought it was his idea to limit houses to two per acre in Pickerington. Never mind the fact that he(and the other councilpeople plus Ms. Bushman) fought the initiative petition for 2/Acre. With all his press lately Mr. Postage is definitely running for Mayor. Guess he is hoping his words speak louder than his actions.

September 17th
Take a look at the minutes of the September 17th City Council meeting.
Mr. Postage, Mr. Wright, Mr. Fox, Mr. Maxey, Mr. Monebrake and the esteemed Mr. Parker voted to protect high density housing. They all voted to approve Final Plats well over the 2 houses per acre that Mr. Postage now wants Columbus to step up & be part of the solution with.
Has anyone noticed that not one Final Plat has been approved since the 2 units/acre ?
Mr. Postage, Mr. Wright, Mr. Parker, Mr. Fox and Mr. Maxey are the BIGGEST part of the problems that face us in Pickerington. The sooner they are out of office the better.
Mr. Postage obviously hopes that we will look past his voting record. We need to make sure it is visible and clear to the voters.
Mr. Monebrake is finished with ruining Long Road and has set his sights on Liberty Township.
Let's hope there are some decent alternatives to put into office in November.

Interesting spin on events
I agree with Lou that Columbus needs to start working with Pickerington on things that affect the PLSD. I also agree that the development going in on the Columbus part of Refugee Road will not serve the best needs of the community
However, I think I speak for all Park Place residents when I say we are confused! Lou came to our Community Meeting last Thursday night to talk about cooperation between Columbus and Pickerington, which we all supported. Who knew cooperation to Lou meant blaming Columbus for all the recent growth in the school district? The development on Refugee Rd. near Hines Rd. is the last area of the district Columbus has left to build. After that, the Columbus population will start making up less than 19% of the school district, as Pickerington and Violet Township grow. If someone who didn't know what was going on read the letter, they would think Columbus built the apartments by the Pickerington Police station and everything else on Refugee Road!
If Lou is using this as a campaign platform, I hope the residents of Pickerington know better!
