Did Wes Monhollen know that the school district's ranking had fallen when he campaigned for the levy? Did he know when he publicly supported the Community Authority without having read it? Has he known all along that Tom Hart had no intention of following through with the $225,000 pledge to the PLSD? After all, now he's claiming that he's always known there were strings attached.
How about Larry Sigman? When did he know the district's rating fell? Has anyone seen any evidence of his claim that he's been working behind the scenes to control growth? Isn't he part of the problem? He's running again, now's our chance to vote him out of office.
How about Lori Sanders? When did she know the district's rating fell? She doesn't think the school board should get involved with growth issues, and she's perfectly content to believe that donations from builders and developers will be there when they need to be.
Maybe we should call them Larry, Curly and Moe. After all, they are stooges for developers and builders.

Idiots all!
I guess I am over loaded this week and I am just getting bits and pieces of things going on in this community.
First we passed a school levy to raise $6 Million per year. The current school board told us that to balance their budget they would need to cut busing for kids living within two miles of their school. Many of the people in my neighborhood thought this was only for the junior and senior high students. Gail Oakes is quoted on TV as saying this cutting of the busing would save the school $500,000.
So let me get this straight we restore the extra circulars programs because of a promised $600,000 grant and then without ever seeing a dime of that money the school board led my Wes Monhollen now commits around $800,000 for these activities. He wanted to commit more. Yet he is very willing to allow 5 year olds to walk by the homes of registered sex offenders and over rail road tracks and not think anything about it. Now today it was posted that our school testing results showed that the school system decline in its proficiency testing. Yet we still have half day kindergarten. To offset the kids walking to school they have hired 5 crossing guards for $35,000 per year. They must be licensed peace officers.
I also understand that last night at the Pickerington City Council meeting the current council voted to not place the growth initiative on the November ballot. Wes Monhollen was present and reports are that he was pleased that his friend Lou Postage and his hand picked council kept that issue away from the voters. They ignored over 500 registered voters in the process. I understand there was comments made that these 500 plus voters really didn?’t know what they were signing. Fox also tried to make the argument that most of the signers signed before the City had their moratorium in place. That moratorium is now at 650 plus new homes this year and rising.
So Wes Monhollen sits there last night and doesn?’t say a word against the uncontrolled residential growth. Even though it is in direct conflict with the resolution he voted for on July 24th at the board calling for slow growth (2 lots per acre). Remember that was before the election. Since Larry is running where is Larry? Why isn?’t he telling the council to pull the plug on growth?
We are represented by crooks and lairs. Some are in it for the money and the rezoning of their family farms and others are just crooked getting their kick backs from difference sources. Until the community sees the problems and identifies the crooks we will just have to live with it. I hope everyone in this community pays attention this time and sees these carpetbaggers for what they are.

Which Wright?
I see in the Pickerington This Week that Pickerington City Councilman Bill Wright has reviewed the growth managemnet plan and he has ruled that it wouldn't stand to legal standards. I thought that the Wright on the Ohio Supreme Court had retired.
So in the new Coummunity Authority has Bill reveiwed that? Will it stand up? They are setting up this comunity to be a door mat for the BIA. The CA is so full of loop holes for these builders that Pickerington will be years recovering from the damage that can and will be placed on our community.
One example is that all building will only be allowed with in the CA for a ten year period. Can we legally restrict property owners outside the CA to not use their lands? What about their property rights that Joyce and Lou keep harping about?
What about the miniumum number of houses? If teh BIA falls below their stated 225 who makes up the difference to the binding company? The BIA has not proposed any kind of credit to back these bonds. Are they expecting the city or councty to back these bonds? Will they find investors willing to put their money in this kind of risk?
Remember 1.3 school per household on new developemnts. In ten years they will bring into teh school district 3900 more school age children to educate. At the same time they will have only provided ONE NEW SCHOOL BUILDING and no additional operating money. It takes about ten years for these new housing developments to start to come close to being revenue neutral. So who will be making up the operating expense difference in the first ten years? Who will build the new school buildings?
Bill Wright I think you need a few more years in your Law School. They didn't teach you any common sense. So Bill Wright has cheched it out and this community authority will be legal. I hope everyone in Pickerington is comforted by the wise Mr. Wright. Didn't his business go bankrupt a few years ago?

PICKERINGTON SUED!!!
JUST IN THE ''THIS WEEK NEWSPAPER' PICKERINGTON SUED BY VIOLA PARK DEVELOPERS. AS LOU POSTAGE FINDS A WAY TO DEFEND THE CITY FROM THE EVIL BIA HE HIRES THE LAW FIRM OF MCAULIFFE, MAPES, AND COUNCILMAN BILLY WRIGHT. LOU SAYS IN THE PAPER THEY FELT THE HAD TO STAY WITHIN THE CITY BUDGET TO PURSUE THIS LEGAL CHALLENGE FOR THE PEOPLE.DO TO THOSE BUDGET RESTRAINS WE MUST USE IN HOUSE PEOPLE. BUT LOU, BILLY WRIGHT CLAIMS WE HAVE AN A+ BOND RATING. WHAT WENT WRONG?
WE ALL READ IN THE TIMES-SUN WHERE YOU ARE PURSUING THE TIF FINANCING IN YOUR ROAD MAP TO PROSPERITY. OH THAT'S RIGHT, I DROVE DOWN THAT ROAD THE OTHER DAY AND IT DEAD ENDED NEAR THE RAILROAD TRACKS. DID YOU FORGET TO MENTION THAT IF COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT DOES NOT OCCUR IN THESE TIF AREAS THEN THE DEBT SERVICE COMES FROM THE CITY'S GENERAL FUND? I AM TOLD THAT PICKERINGTON IS PAYING THAT DEBT SERVICE OUT OF ITS GENERAL FUND FOR THE ROAD PREVIOUSLY CALLED THE ROAD TO NO WHERE OR THE HILL ROAD EXTENDER. HOW MANY OTHER TIME BOMBS ARE THE CITY RESIDENTS SITTING ON LOU?
BOB MAPES WILL BE THE LEAD ATTORNEY DEFENDING THE CITY BECAUSE THE OTHER ATTORNEY IS IN JAIL AND BILLY WRIGHT CHANGED HIS MIND AND DOESN'T WHAT TO BE IN THE COURT ROOM. MAPES WOULD HIRE A COMPETENT OUTSIDE LAW FIRM BUT RAN OUT OF MONEY PAYING FOR OUTSIDE LEGAL WORK SHOOTING DOWN CITIZENS PETITIONS.
BESIDES LOU MUST GET RE-ELECTED AND HE IS USING THE CITY TO FINANCE HIS CAMPAIGN. HE NOW HAS A WEEKLY NEWSLETTER AND WEEKLY GUEST COLUMNS IN THE LOCAL NEWSPAPERS. I UNDERSTAND THE THE LOCAL PAPERS DEPEND ON ADVERTIZING AND THEY NEED TO KEEP PULISHING LOU'S LETTERS. THE CITY HIRED A PR GUY TO WRITE LOU'S STUFF.
I HAD A SNEAK PREVIEW OF MAPES' DEFENSE OPENING STATEMENT. HE STARTS OFF, THIS ORDINANCE IS HARD TO DEFEND.'' I TRIED TO TALK THEM OUT OF IT BUT THEY WOULDN'T LISTEN TO ME. I GUESS, I REST MY CASE''.
SO NOW THE BIA THROWS OUT THE TWO LOTS PER ARCE ISSUE THAT THE VOTERS APPROVED BECAUSE OF A WEAK AND BROKE CITY GOVERNMENT HELPLESS TO DEFEND ITSELF BECAUSE THE THREAT OF A MORATORIUM CAUSED THE HOUSING MARKET TO DROP OFF. YOU ALL BETTER GRAP A GOOD HOLD ONTO YOUR BOOT STRAPS.
