Mark, should PLSD board sue?

Posted in: PATA
Mark,

I have copied one of your postings below. Should the school board still sue builders and developers? Where is your outcry now? Why aren't you slinging mud at Larry Sigman, Lori Sanders and Wes Monhollen now? They made decisions based on money they don't, and won't, have. Gail Oaks is looking pretty smart now, isn't she? The BIA and Heatherbrook Developers have given NOTHING to the schools. NOTHING but overcrowding and higher taxes. Good job, Mark.

Some friendly advice - STICK TO THE ISSUES!

Board MUST Collect Donations

8-10-2003
I was upset to read in today's Dispatch that the BIA is now 'hedging on donations' to PLSD extracurricular activities, and apparently now is trying to tie the donation promised in June to an action by the Pickerington City Council.

In Ohio, an oral agreement (or promise) has the same legal authority as a written agreement. And, in this case, since our undertanding of the oral agreement has been extensively reported in various media sources allowing the other party ample time to correct any misunderstanding, I think we have far more than just an 'oral' promise.

Fee colletion for athletes and band members will take place on August 13, 14, 15, 19 & 20th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at PHS Central for all schools.

I would encourage our Board members to take action tomorrow evening to invoice all outstanding 'promised' fees and if they are not paid by August 20th at 8 p.m. take the parties to court.

I think our school board would find very open-minded judges in Lancaster and would find 100% of the community behind their action.

I trust, however, the BIA will understand their legal commitments and pay the $75,000 by 8 p.m. on August 20th & their other commitments by the due dates established by the PLSD board!

Suing whom?

Waitnig for the outcry,

I just read that recent posting from Mark Uher. Is Mark Uher threatening to sue every parent that didn't or couldn't come up with the money for pay to play?

Sham on you Mark! Quoted from the above posting.

Apparently Mark has become delusional and expects 100% support from this community in the upcoming law suits filed by this School Board. Mark you are nothing but a fool to think this board should go after parents for $167 fees that would cost thousands to collect using your method. Is this the kind of board member you would support. Go after the little guy in court? Seems like the old days and the way you ran the civic association Mark.

Mark you continue to show us all the real kind of Butt you are by saying that there would be 100% support coming from this community to sue the parents for fees. I for one would think your idea is less than perfect. Go back to you hole and stay there please.

This is the kind of leadership we have down at Pickerington City Hall. They spend tens of thousands of dollars to supress the citizens of this community by hiring outside attorneys to keep ballot issues away from the voters. Apparently they are using the Mark Uher play book for keeping the citizens in line for the benefit of the special interest groups that support Mark Uher and his hand picked board members (Sigman, Sandes, and Monhollen).

It is truly time for change.
