Here is the slate folks it looks better this time that in any time in the last ten years.
Who are some of these people?

I would assume from the number of candidates for PLSD school board, mayor and city council that people are unhappy with the leadership. Are any of them plants for builders/developers/D.B.? My concern is that the public will vote for someone because of the lack of ''name recognition'', and then we'll be stuck with more of the same Sigman/Postage crap we've been dealing with for years.

Does anyone have info on the candidates who haven't been in the public eye recently?
Yes and No

You are correct that the people stepping up to the plate to try and make positive changes for the city is impressive.

However, this list is littered w/ many people who will be funded by the same dirty money as those in power now. It will be up to us as individuals to expose the power structure and get the ones into office that are really going to make things better.

The 'other' side is playing chess here and all they need is 1 of their cronies into city hall in Nov to checkmate real change. It's a lot harder to fight the unknowns than it would have been Maxey and Fox and the other side was well aware of that early on.

Get involved, figure out who's who, and support the right candidates in any way you can and let's take back our city and school board in November!

Food for thought

Pickerington City Council

1. Jack Bowman. Recently appointed to zoning appeals board. He voted in favor for the zoning variance for the hundreds of appartments behind the police station. He has been discribed to my as a taller version of Sabatino maybe a little dumber.

2. Chris Smith has been on the Pickerington Zoning Commission for years. He help vote in the massive housing surge we see today. He is a business partner of Lee Gray and may be a part owner of Grandma's pizza.

3. Julie Smith is unknown and she is 55. However her nominating petition was filed by Lee Gray. That alone will give you some idea of where she stands. Sometimes Lee Gray will bring in people to serve that don't really know what or who they are serving.
