Not that Gary is an uncommon name, but I've posted messages on this site and wanted to make it clear that I am not the ''Gary'' that posted the negative message regarding Lisa Reade.
I was critical of the decision to limit the initial Community First meetings, but my opinion of Lisa Reade is favorable, and I believe that anyone who sees that growth is the school's main problem is a better choice than anyone we currently have.
Petitions are only ineffective when democracy has been hijacked by a few builder supported individuals. Causing trouble is the only alternative left to those denied democracy (we don't have any ships or tea here). And, it's effective...public opinion in this community is decidely against continued residential growth, and even builders money, lawsuits and deception eventually lose to public opinion.
Although I hear she is intelligent and resourceful, those qualities are not really necessary for politicians...they just need to remember to represent those they ''represent''. She'd do as good a job as the next person, and she's willing to do it.
Hey, maybe instead you could elect Mark Uher...we'd have a fiscal disaster and frequent fistfights at board meetings, but we'd have one heck of a football team, and we'd dispense with all this ''troublemaking''.
