I have nothing personally against Chris Smith or Jack Bowman, I understand they are very nice people. However, I do not understand how Chris Smith can say he is for slow growth when, as a member of Planning & Zoning Committee, he voted to approve final plats for Fox Glen and Sycamore Creek(when in fact they had not been finalized)to beat the petition for ''two houses per acre'' vote in November.
In like manner, I did not appreciate Jack Bowman's vote(Zoning Board of Appeals) for a variance for the front yard set-back to provide more back yard room for the condos behind the Police Station on Refugee Road. It gave the developer all he wanted to go ahead with all the cheap, two/three bedroom condos. It also gave the condos nice big back yards for the children to play.
