For those of you who thought the Bob Thomas article was flattering - read it again.
First he CAN'T freeze property taxes on fixed income residents - but it does sound nice....
Second, He's for the purchase of Hickory Lakes yet against the Sewer plant - doesn't he understand that to purchase Hickory Lakes as structured is NOT possible without setting the community up for explosive growth the way the loan is structured ?
Paggage of the Community Authority would create many more potential ''No'' votes than the 600 he mentions - it's minimally 3000 more homes in the next ten years.
What's vindictive about anything David Shaver has done? He has only tried to stand up to the builders & a City Council that is determined NOT to listen to their electorate.
My opinion is the article shows how out of touch Mr. Thomas has been. If he's really so concerned where's he been the last 5 years ??
