Pickerington Area Taxpayers Alliance

As senior citizens and longtime residents of Pickerington, we have witnessed first hand the bickering that has come to characterize our city. While we got by in the past using confrontation as a means of doing business, we will not prosper unless we change.

Once, we were a rural community isolated from other communities in the area. Now we are linked by the common problems of increased traffic, growing student population and school funding, to name a few.

Our problems go beyond political boundary lines. We must put aside petty differences, stop the accusations and name calling, and work together to find collective solutions to our problems.
We applaud Lou Postage for advocating a regional approach to the issues we face and working to calm things down and heal our community.
We believe that this is the only way to move forward.

We support Lou Postage for mayor.

I would like to add that...

Lou has been a long-standing member of city council for what - 20 years now? Look at the situation our city is in.

How can someone who has very much helped create the problems we are experiencing now claim to be able to fix them?

Just curious why he waited until now to fix all that's wrong?

when we all did what Lee told us

I guess John wants to go back to the good old days when there was no bickering. There also wasn't any discussion of issues or any real need to have council meetings cause they all voted 7-0 and Daryll and Lee reigned supreme.

It is a shame about the bickering. If everyone had just kept queit then the pesky voters wouldn't be wondering why our former mayor became rich enough to buy a shopping center after leaving office and why former councilmen are running around developing property in our sister communities.

John-you were part of the problem and I am sad to see that even after leaving office you are still part of the problem. I had assumed that you left office becuase you couldn't put up with the likes of Postage, Maxey, Gray, Bushman, Wright, Parker, Hughes and Fox.
