Regional approach
Mayor Postage has had quite a few years to get involved in a regional approach. How about a regional approach to sewage, joining forces for a joint sewer district with the county, instead of saddling the residents of Pickerington with an additional $12 million debt for a new sewer plant which is many times bigger than the City needs. How about working with the township on a Hickory Lakes park instead of ''just for the city''? The only time Mr. Postage has talked cooperation is when there is an election. He has had quite a good bit of time in the last few years to cooperate. He hasn't even cooperated with his own constituents. Actions speak louder than words. |

Regional Approach ....Really !!
Just ask any Violet Township official, any Canal Winchester official, City of Columbus official, or even Baltimore official and you will not hear that Mr. Postage is renowned for his ''regional approach.'' Quite the contrary. This entire olde guard of people, Postage, Smith, Bowman, Swanson, Thomas are part of the problems of this area. If Lou in his illustrious 20 years in City government had a regional approach, we would not be in this pickle that we are in. Postage and the others cannot even meet in the same room with this people unless there is a chance for a photo op. |

Postage is not a team player
Please remember that this spring when the community was talking about this community authority. They all met at the Police station. Those at the meeting were amoung others David Shaver, Lisa Reade, Bruce Rigelman, William Wright, Lou Postage, Sara Rose, Wes Monhollen, and of course Tom Hart of the BIA. They talked about this CA proposal by the BIA and left the meeting requesting more information. Before they received this requeted information Lou Postage calls a press conference and BLINDSIDED the slow growth people. He even blind sided Tom Hart with his annoucement that they had a community auhtority in place or at the very least proposed and that was nothing more than a big lie by Lou. As we are all aware today there is still no community authority aggreement on the table. So how can you trust a Mayor that walks out of a meeting and heads straight to a news microphone that his city PR set up. No elected offical will trust Lou or his tactics. Lou is only interested in promoting Lou not the community. Remember his Kohl's annoucement. I will remind you all later when they move to Reynoldsburg. |
