Following in his foot steps

It sounds like Mini-me is about to take over from Lee Gray.

Chris Smith claims to be a slow growth advocate. Yet he stood before council and told them what a good character that Craig Maxey had. He says he joined the planning and zoning committee to make change. Now what does a pizza man know about planning and zoning. He stood before the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce and said he didn?’t know anything about a Community Authority. He thought that Hickory Lakes was a good purchase because we need the parks totally unaware that we had to expand the sewer plant to provide sewer taps for nearly 6000 more homes. How can he even begin to control growth when he hasn?’t taken the time to study the issues?

Even if you give young Mr. Smith the benefit of any doubt he still isn?’t smart enough to stop this building. He will still need to have Lee Gray tell him what needs to be done. What will Lee tell him?

So once this election is over you recall folks better get cracking. You will still have Sabatino, Wright and Parker.

Trojan Horse still coming

I number of postings down the page I warned this community to beware of the Trojan horse. It appears that the ?“Advocates of Growth?” now have taken on the same likeness as the honest challengers that now are trying to slow the residential growth of Pickerington. They also have found ethics: expiration date November 5th, 2003.

Lee Gray knows his uncontrolled residential growth policy is not playing well to the public. He is not above out and out lying as we see in the Chris Smith campaign flyer yesterday. Mr. Chris Smith who normally drives his Grandma Pizza truck to council has been no where around in the fight against uncontrolled growth over the last few years. He even endorsed Craig Maxey to get his seat back on council after the voters throw him out in 2001. He now tries to copy statements and pledges made by the slow growth candidates just to get their votes. Don?’t be fooled, Chris Smith is not for slow growth.

Unfortunately our local press didn?’t tie the link between Lee Gray and the three Mayoral candidates with the other three Lee Gray sponsored for city council. Clearly as is pointed out above Lee Gray is pulling the strings on this elections and we should all be very aware of the consequences if he succeeds.

They will destroy this community and its school system. They will leave this city in so much debt that we will not be able to give our homes away. We don?’t need 6000 more homes here in Pickerington in most of our life times. This only goes into Lee Gray?’s pockets through Homewood. If he controls council he controls zoning and annexation. I would recommend that we rise up and conquer this Trojan Horse before we allow it into the city thinking it is harmless.

Remember Randy Hughes and Lou Postage in 1999 and how they were going to develop a commercial park? Where is that park? Lou said, ?“If Susan Crotty didn?’t deliver they would fire her?”. Well she didn?’t deliver and she is still here. What is Lou doing now? He is working to put 3000 more homes protected by a Community Authority. They are wanting to expand the sewer plant for future growth. Parker says, ?“If we don?’t expand the sewer plant it will hurt commercial growth in the Township?”. Please check out there lies over the years. They were lying then and they are lying now. It is time we clean house for real.
