It Does Not Matter
It does not matter to me why the Time Sun endorsed Raymond and Vail. I know who will work to control spending in the school district, to stop the run-away residential growth that is swamping our schools, and to build a strong commercial tax base that will support good schools without exhorbitant tax rates. As others have said, where were Raymond and Vail in our ongoing fight for these goals.
The Times Sun apparently was miffed at not being invited to the first CommUnity First meetings -- even though no one turned them away at the door. These were not secret meetings.
The Times Sun may also be unaware of Mark Uher's involvement in Raymond's campaign, or of his long history of name-calling, threats, intimidation and generally dirty politics. Pickerington voters need to teach potential candidates, once and for all, that there is no future for them in this kind of misbehavior. They can help accomplish this in November by handing Raymond -- with all her yard signs -- a resounding defeat.

Once again you are spitting in the wind. Who told you Lisa Reade's involvement in Community 1st cost her the Times Sun Endorsement?
It didn't affect David Shaver and he was as involved as Reade was - your comments just don't fly and will backfire - just keep them up.
The fact is that Reade is endorsed by all the slow growth candidates that currently sit in office in Violet Township & the City of Pickerington in addition to Tim Schaffer. She already knows these people and how to work with them - she has no learning curve. She understands what the people want, takes the time to find out, even had her knock on my door. I've also seen that Brink has been involved with the School Board prior to the election cycle - that makes a difference in my book.
People tell you what they believe in - I like a person that can show me what they believe in.
