How much does Uher get paid?

Posted in: PATA
Obviously Mark Uher is working both sides of the fence here. I read today that the Panther Boosters charged $2.00 for parking your car at the North Football game the other night. The lady in the paper was wanting to know where the books are for this club? Clearly they are operating on Public property and according to Larry Sigman this parking charge was a fund raiser. Didn't this same booster club donate a around $1000 or more to the issue campaign?

So if this club has that much money who audit's their books? Is the public being ripped off here after they just spend millions building this facility?

Who knows?

Does Uher get paid for being the Booster President?

Does he get any compensation for being Chair of the levy (issue) campaigns?

Apparently Larry Sigman will get Uher's vote so the question to the others school board candidates is will you question the operation of the athletic booster club and their actions on PUBLIC property? The once that Uher will support will not ask questions and the rest of the tax payers will be in the dark.

So who is it Mark, do you support Sigman and Vail?

Did Mark or the booster club file any paper work with the board of elections?

Have they ever been audited by the school board or any outside agency?

Come out of the dark.

Officials receiving pay in jail

Public servants on trial don?’t deserve wages
Sunday, September 07, 2003

I read in the Aug. 27 Dispatch that a deputy sheriff was indicted by the grand jury for alleged sex acts with a female prisoner and, on the same page, that a judge was in jail awaiting trial for alleged arson.

The outrage is that we are paying these two substandard public servants their substantial salaries and benefits while they are not performing their jobs. Why can?’t their salaries be put in escrow until their trials are completed? If innocent, give it to them with interest. If guilty or they plea bargain to avoid trial, give it back to the taxpayers.

Doing anything else is a grave injustice to all who work hard and pay taxes to support the system. Laws have to be passed and union contracts amended to prevent such outrageous practices, not only for judges and law enforcement but for any employee paid by the taxpayers.

This is a good idea. Can someone, like Brian Fox in his position as Executive Committee Chair, do anything about this, i.e. support Tim Schaffer's bill?
