Does any one know PLSD policy for having and/or publicizing financial reports for booster groups? There was a letter to the editor last week from a person who was upset with the athletic boosters for not publicizing their financial report. Is this true? The music dept has not publicized their report or given parents an itemization of trips, etc. (probably because they have not had an audit in several years), but what is the policy? Shouldn't an organization who is receiving funds from the community want to have an audit? Should the school board demand an audit be performed or should this matter be allowed to continue, as is?
