The first part of the editorial from the Pickerington Times Sun attracked a few attack dogs. Must have hit home. Hopefully, this Part II will do the same. Got a few folks on the run.
Part I.
Lisa Reade & Bruce Rigelman's shadow government was condemned by the Pickerington Times Sun. The Times Sun said backroom delas and private meetings conducted by CommUNITY 1st served no useful purpose, and that residents have been vocal about the bad decisions of the City Council, Violet Township Board of Trustees and the PLSD board of education.
Part II.
Several of the more outspoken critics created a self-appointed group calling itself CommUNITY 1st Task Force (Lisa Reade and Bruce Rigelman are the leaders).
... the approach is off base.
The group is holding private meetings, by invitation only, to compile a list of core issues.
They (Lisa Reade & Bruce Rigelman) say they intend to open future meetings to the public and the media after those issues have been identified (by the self-appointed group) and narrowed to a select few (by Lisa and Bruce).
This type of shadow government is ill-advised.
