It is interesting to watch the worm squirm.

There?’s one ticket that can change things in this community. Lisa Reade may have been a small part of Community 1st, but where was Raymond, Vail, Sigmond and the rest when YOUR Pickerington city council passed 2,200 homes approved as EMERGENCY in September 2002?

I?’ll tell you where Reade was. Right there, protesting because she cared more about Pickerington Local Schools and the kids they educate than the other supposedly ?“qualified?” candidates did. The fearful others were afraid to crawl out of their holes ?– they might upset potential political allies.

Actions (and inaction) speak louder than words. I?’m tired of the glorified couch potato board members who say they can?’t change city council?’s attitudes. They have never tried!!! I want someone who?’s going to give it to us in a not-so politically correct format. We?’ve got too many politicians on our board of education; too many politicians who hide behind the desk and do nothing for the people, the taxpayers or children. Not every kid plays football or basketball you know. Why haven?’t the academic cuts been fully restored? Where?’s our board of education? Are they the board of sports education?

We?’ve got a chance to change that Nov. 4th Hopefully, the booster will fade into obscurity (their rightful place in a public school district). And hopefully, when the time has come for cuts (it won?’t be long because PLSD will have serious difficulty passing the next levy), sports and sports alone will be on the chopping block!

IT's time to get those that like the staus quo out of here. VOTE for those like READE, BRINK, SHAVER, HACKWORTH, etc that have been trying to change the good ole boys little thing they have in PICKTOWN. Control this beast of cooperation between the BIA, City Manager, Law Director, Council, Inactive School brd members and all those groups that just want more money FOR THE KIDS! Maybe we need a new dining room or covered parking for the boosters at the new high school!!
