THIS IS HEREBY A REMINDER OF THE GUILDEINES FOR POLITICAL CANDIDATES AND THEIR CAMPAIGN SIGN PLACEMENT IN THE CITY OF PICKERINGTON (signed into law August 21, 2003.

1. All Postage, Smith, Vail, Thomas, Bowen, Bowman and Swanson signs will be allowed to be put anywhere they want. This includes but is not limited to any and all right of ways in the Township and the City without regard to placement.
2. All Shaver, Riggs, Wisniewski and Hackworth signs will be removed any time we want for any reason.
3. All Shaver Riggs, Wisniewski and Hackworth signs will be confiscated between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 a.m. but before day light and certainly before the children see us.
4. All confiscated Shaver, Riggs, Wisniewski and Hackworth signs will be either destroyed or placed in the City sign dumpster for pick up by any interested candidate for a fee of $5.00 per sign.
5. Note after replacement of a reset sign a City of Pickerington Patrol Car will radio Joyce's home for clearance to either remove the sign or for the good of the people, just burn it.
6. The City Manager is hereby authorized to have deputy sign enforcement workers like Darryl Berry, Lee Gray, Lee Gray's wife, Lee Gray's dog, Brian Fox, Brian Fox's wife, Bill Wright, Jack Bowman, Jack Bowman's wife and his mother assist in this very important law enforcement issue.
7. All fines related to this confiscation will go into a separate ''Joyce Bushman's new nails and massage fund.'' or the ''Hickory Lakes Land Option Fund,'' which ever is larger.
8. To provide harmony among the serfs of Pickerington aka Darrylville, the present Mayor has offered a remedy for concerns over the implementation of these guidelines or related sign enforcement issues. Said remedy will be for said Candidate or his/her treasurer to come to the City Municipal Building doors after hours, to bang on the door three (3) times screaming loudly, ''I want my signs back!'' Only after three (3)times loudly (not softly) will a candidate and or their treasurer hear a loud laugh track of Joyce Bushman as they bang on the door. At that time a small flag will come out from the door, telling you, ''too bad, so sad.''
9. Note that these guidelines have been in our charter as far back as Mr. Picker. They have been implemented and enforced for the protection of our community thereby ridding the city of unneccessary signage from those who wish to have a voice in their government.
