Let's keep working

Folks,

Maybe the news sounds like victory on November 4th right now but there is, like you say, 33 days. Please don't let down before the election thinking this thing is in the bag. None of us have heard anything from their side yet. They have the money and they have the will to win. If you haven't helped with any of the work please call and volunteer tomorrow. Their numbers are listed and I am sure they can get you in touch with anyone that isn't.

Everyone should be out talkng with their neighbors about how you feel about this election and what it will mean to this city if the bad guys are still there on November 5th.

Let us work hard now and have a real big celebration on November 5th. I hope we all can be driving around town with brooms tied to our vehicles indicating a CLEAN SWEEP.

To the Pickerington City employees.

I know a number of you live in fear of the unknown. However you may now call a new number from the Ohio State Auditor's office to report corruption or mis-spent funds. That number is: 1-866-FRAUD OH or 1-866-372-8364.

Most of the citizens in Pickerington are aware of funds that have just disappeared. Can you help the by calling the Auditor and reporting what you know. Now is the time to start the process that will come. I believe they would also be interested in bribes and other incentives paid to elected officals. Now that can be in the form of a large loans made to elected officals that was never repaid in exchange for favorable votes on council or trips to Las Vegas where an applicant doing business before the council pays for the trip and then supplies these elected officals with say $20,000 or $30,000 worth of chips. They then bet a little and then cash them in laundring the money. Kick back from compaines doing business with the city is also reportable. That could be in the form of a silent partner in a LLC in a land deal. I believe this information will be helpful after the first of the year.
