Have been waiting to say a few things for a long time?…seems the right time now.
To Shaver, Hackworth, Riggs, Wisnieski, Reade, Brink and the several hundred people who supported their efforts in various ways: ?“Thank you, and now that you?’re in charge, don?’t screw this up.?”
To the ?“soon to be former?” city administration: ?“You got exactly what you deserved?…at least some of you did, and the rest of you will follow soon?…hurry up and shred those documents, or this might get even worse for you?”
To the remaining incumbent councilman: ?“Did you get the message this time? Don?’t worry, you?’ll get it soon enough. Better keep the day jobs?”.
To Brian Fox and Craig Maxey : ?“I like to play poker, and they call what you did a ?‘lay down?’. Basically that?’s a clever strategy of just not playing a game you know you have no chance of winning. Doesn?’t work in politics that well though, despite what you might think?…your next opponents will surely bring that up during future campaigns?”
To Joyce Bushman: ?“I hear you might have resigned. That?’s good news, but don?’t feel too bad?…you were able to do sufficient damage to the community I love so as to cause me and many others considerable pain?…I am sure that helps you to leave in good spirits?”
To the local developers and builders: ?“Time for plan B, call the lawyers and sue everybody?”.
To the ?“other?” Republican Club: ?“You lost every race, and your organization is run by Fox and Gray?…sounds like it might be time for a change in direction?”
Sorry about the childish negativity. I don?’t share this because anyone cares what I think, or because I want them too. I?’m just angry and frustrated about what?’s been happening, and I?’ve been really anxious for those who have been abusing this community to get what they deserve. Like last year?’s national championship, I wasn?’t sure I?’d live to see it. (and I?’m not that old)
