Vote for Change

Posted in: PATA
It certainly is interesting that our infamous and frequent poster here on this site has always accused the PATA people of being a secret group and that they were a Political Action Committee.

It now appears that the very group that MWU lead (The Pickerington North High School Athletic Boosters) is nothing more that a political action committee themselves.

Clearly they are trying to control who is elected not only in the city (Postage, Chris Smith, Julie Smith and Jack Bowman) but also in the school district to the school board (Mike Smith, Marcy Raymond and Larry Sigman). This has worked for years here in Pickerington, because they had formed a coalition of different organizations that conspired together to make this happen.

Obviously the Pickerington Athletic Booster clubs have supported Lou Postage and his failed policies for years now. Like Lou said, ?“this current situation didn?’t happen over night?”. Even on his campaign literature he touts being as a ?“Three times past President of the Pickerington Athletic Boosters?”. He was also the past president of the PYAA. Some refer to this club as the ?“Sport?’s Nazis?”.

Clearly the Pickerington Chamber of Commerce has conspired over the years with Lou and his handlers. You can regularly see that Joyce Bushman uses and continues to use the PACC as a political issue group that promotes only her ideas. The local chamber is a radical group that cares very little about promoting local business and more about that special treatment they provide for their selected (Platinum) members mostly from the Building Industry. A great example of this was how Lou Postage controlled how the City Council candidates would be presented to the public by the Chamber. They had a closed ?“luncheon?” only members of the Chamber and some county elected people showed up. Clearly if the voting public had heard what little the Lee Gray candidates had to say on the most important issues of Pickerington they would have been stunned. The fact is that the PACC conspired with Lou Postage and Lee Gray to allow their candidates (Chris Smith, Julie Smith and Jack Bowman) to talk behind closed doors then once they didn?’t have to face the public anymore they copied the ideas of Republican Club of Northwest Fairfield County endorsed candidates (Shaver, Riggs, Hackworth, & Wisniewski) and now they want to be just like them, afraid to put in their own campaign literature who truly supports them.

For years now Brian Fox has abused the good name of Lions clubs of this county. He has used his good will and this service organization?’s fine reputation nationally for partisan political purposes.

The PACC then showcased the School Board candidates and here again the athletic boosters candidates said very little except that they were boosters. Clearly Marcy Raymond talked a lot but presented no real substance in her comments. Mike Smith tried to match wits with Jim Brink but apparent came to the luncheon unarmed. Substance wise Jim Brink blew Larry Sigman off the stage. While Lisa Reade laid out her plans the others laid out fluff.

Maybe a true service organization should sponsor a actual debate in the future for candidates so that they must present themselves to the public. Maybe that should be a future roll for PATA.
Vote for the losers

I know for a fact that my troops are tuning into to this web site for good solid voting information for tomorrow?’s election. I am a close associate of the former mayor. You know the one that circulated all those petitions for mayor and city council. I have been holding off giving everyone their final marching orders but I can?’t wait any longer because the election is tomorrow.

First when you get your ballot it will tell you to only vote for one candidate for Mayor. Don?’t believe it. This is Pickerington and we make the rules. What do not we care what the Ohio Constitution or the City Charter says. The former Mayor wants you to vote for all of his candidates for mayor on the same ballot. Yep that?’s right please vote for Postage, Swanson and Thomas for Mayor. Our plan is to have David Shaver come in third. I think it is working from the feed back that I have received from our polling center in Cleveland, Ohio. I gave them all of the phone numbers of Church Street where I used to live.

Now when you vote for Chris Smith also vote for Jack Bowman and Julie Smith. Just to show you are not ideologically attached to the former Mayor also vote for one of the candidates from the gang of four.

Now we must have support from the future school board so please vote for the three candidates for school board. Our choices are Sigman, Mike Smith, and Marcy Raymond. Here again vote for all three. This will pushed Reade and Brink to the four and fifth position in the returns.

For those of you that foolishly want to support the Gang of Four (Shaver, Riggs, Hackworth and Wisniewski) please follow the instructions on the ballot exactly. Clearly you fools need rules and we will enforce them because we also control the Fairfield County Board of Elections. If you think you have had problems with getting referendums and initiatives on the ballot wait till we count the ballots.

Get ready, PATA

If the voters do not VOTE 4 CHANGE tomorrow, you might as well shut down this website, PATA. There will be nothing left to bit¢h about any more. You reap what you sow. If you don't vote out the crooks, shut up and take what you get!

Give up HELL!

I am sorry you feel the way you do. Even if some posters do not get those in office that they want then we continue on. Both sides of the issues have posted here on this site. Clearly someone will lose tomorrow. If the Vote for Change group wins then there is the losers that are still out there. If we have a split decision then we continue the debate. In any case we should never give up what is America.

You all have the right to vote and please exercise that right tomorrow. I would think it would be very impressive if the Vote 4 Change won with 50 or 60% of the voters voting. That would send a mandate. If we only have a 20% turnout tomorrow then we do really get what we deserve.
