No capacity - no houses
It could be that if there is no capacity in our sewer plant, the EPA could force us to shut down building. |

300 taps going fast
Watchful You are very close to the answer sir or lady. The current Pickerington Waste Water Plant has about 300 sewer taps left if that many. If we get this ordinance and the referendum filed back with the city by December 3rd and the OEPA doesn't issue the final PTI until later this spring we will need to shut any additional sewer taps off. No getty sewer tap no buildy housey. |

The sewers are the answer
To the best of my knowledge, tne city has no obligation to expand its waste water treatment facilities, and no right to allow tap-ins beyond the capacity of the current system. If that is so (and we should make certain that it is), that may be our answer to the BIA. With no sewer expansion, we were told Wednesday night, there can be no more than 300 additional houses built in the city (unless the builders can cut a deal with other providers). If the BIA and its friends want to persist in this law suit, it may be years before they build in the city again. |
