On behalf of the entire Shaver Family, I would like to extend my thanks to the entire community for their efforts and support. This change stems from the hearts of a few and has risen to a movement to protect our community and our future. Change like this also does not come unless you have a great deal of people working at all levels in many capacities to move towards a goal. This team had a rigthteous cause and we knew it. Thanks to all of you who worked tirelessly on the campaign, stuffing envelopes, making calls and walking the streets of the city informing the voters. Thanks to the many who took time away from their families and other commitments to contribute to this effort. Thanks to the many children who watched as our democracy was demonstrated. Thanks to those who ran with my husband. Their courage and commitment were evident from the start. Thanks to God for his many blessings, We ask for his guidance as the real work begins.
