Pickerington Area Taxpayers Alliance

The elections are over and it is now time we all unite behind the area's newly elected officials. Voters have clearly spoken, desiring a limit to residential growth and change. City of Pickerington and PLSD voters overwhelming elected pro-change candidates ... by a historical margin.

We elected two excellent candidates to the school board, who ran outstanding campaigns...maybe the best I have ever seen. Dr. Brink's concensus-building leadership skills and passion for education will be a huge asset to our board. Lisa Reade's extensive marketing background will help our district communicate better with the residents ... a clear weakness of our district. Both are very bright, full of energy and will be very responsible and capable board members.

It is my hope that Marcy Raymond ... probably the best candidate that our district has ever had ... will run again in two years after the 'dust' has settled a bit over devisive growth issues.

A big thank you is due from all of us to Larry Sigman will has helped build our schools into one of the finest school districts in the state over the last 20 years! Thank you, Larry, for your dedication to our children's education, year after year after year.

Let's all congratulate our new leaders and truly support their efforts to build a better community.

If those words had come from anyone else, they might have been written with a modicum of sincerity. You, however, have spewed your vile over this discussion site so venemously that nobody wants to unite with you over anything. All the candidates that you supported lost for a reason. People now know that you stand for all that has been wrong with this school district. Lisa Reade and Jim Brink were the best candidates for school board, and the public recognized that. Take your false attempts at leadership somewhere else.

You are like Jesse Jackson who does not know when to just butt out. Your caustic words, and nasty deeds have labeled you for life. Honestly I would not follow you to a dog fight. Get a new address and save your backstabbing antics for another community, for instance Juno Alaska. I will pay for the ticket. Really man, get some help.
