I remember when former Councilman Brian Fox was at the top of his game late in the last century. I understand he was the top voter getter in 1999. One of his moves was his politics by association. To impress people he would include in his own campaign literature that literature of say Governor Taft. So let?’s follow the records.
So Brian Fox helped with distributing Governor Taft?’s campaign literature and closely associated with the Governor. RESULT CONVICTED
Then shortly after that he worked on the Gary DeMastry campaign to get him elected. Even then his loyalty showed through despite the fact that the former Sheriff had 330 felon charges filed against him. Despite the missing POT from the evidence room. Brian continued to work to get his good friend elected. RESULT CONVICTED AND SERVING TIME.
Then in 2003 Brian took on another candidate for county wide office. If was the former Pickerington Law Director and at the time he was servicing as a Municipal Judge for Fairfield County. Brian completely over looked all of the shady deals that went on here in Pickerington prior to the Judge?’s appointment to the bench. Despite that Brian Fox and Craig Maxey making him the newest member of the Pickerington Lions club to have him indicted three weeks later. Despite Brian Fox?’s endorsement the Judge dropped out of the election for municipal Judge. RESULT CONVICTED AND SERVING TIME.
Lets us not forget that while the county Republican Chairman Brian Fox endorsed Municipal Judge Candidate that he got appointed by his old buddy Taft to a vacant Municipal Judge seat in Fairfield County. One comment from Fox?’s friend Steve Jackson mid-way into the election was that having the endorsement of the Republican County party and Brian Fox was like having a death wish.
Anyway keeping a perfect record Brian Fox lost that election also.
So I guess the only task left for us here on this web site is to figure out when and what Sabatino and Wright will be charged with.
This will be Fox?’s last hurrah. Standing in the wings and ready to move will be Jeff Fix.
