Heads up for Issue ads with misleading or missing information.
To wit:
The MRDD ad stating no new millage. Technically correct but fails to mention that establishing two mills at today's values almost quadruples the tax bill. In reality, a 400% increase.
The PEA full page ad: What one time school event was used to take the picture? Not a normal day I'm sure at any of the schools.
The season is upon us. I'm sure there be more soon.

See for yourself
Anyone that has any question about the state of our elementary schools stop by an elementary school this Monday or Tuesday - that way you can see prior to voting - you pick what school & watch the buses unload in the morning - school starts at 8:45 am so getting there at 8:30 will allow ample time to position yourself for viewing. Check into the office first & any of the principals will be glad to show you.

I didn't say it was staged, I asked what special event was under way. If I was making the case the gym at Central needed expanded I would find pictures of the Tiger Holiday Tournament from the late 90's to present my case, not a picture from a typical game.
Media presentation is everything. Political advertising is typically the best at manipulation, voters need to stay in front of it.

Special Event
The special event is the buses unloading at the start of school.
To see more special events like lunch, gym, etc - visit the districts website.
To make the analogy of this is an exception rather than the norm that our kids are in - is a mis-statement in and of itself.
People don't have to have kids in the elementary schools to be informed - if you have any questions PLEASE visit a school and see for yourself.
