PLSD Survey

False hope

OK OK,

I log on to the school district web site and state clearly the reason why I voted against the past levy. Then I log on again and state why I vote for the levy.

The fact is that a volunteer log on polling data is so inaccurate that you can not make an informed decision from the data you receive from the informal survey.

The fact also is that the board has already went down that path and they were told that the levy would pass over whelming. It failed by 67% voting against the levy.

Who would log on to the site?

Would people vote more than once?

As so on.

I am not going to waste my time or the board's time with this tripe.
Not Quite

Actually, the levy lost by approx 55% to 45% this month.

Actually, they have

By definition (ORC) any ballot issue or non-statewide candidate election is considered a ''special'' election.

Regardless of when the election is held, the initiative sponsor is liable for their share of the costs involved (poll workers, space rental, etc.). Elections held in February or August, normally for school levies and the like, have a virtual 100% percent of the costs being paid by a school district, as they are typically the only ones on the ballot at that time.

The PLSD will spend a smaller percentage of ballot costs when they are on the ballot in November and May compared to February and August.

Not alone

PLSD has not been the sole issue on any ticket in the last three years.

It hasn't even been close. Your words sound nice but the reality is different.
