Folks you heard it here first, Parker, Wright, and Sabatino were out of the loop on all of these 9 programs and projects. Devoid of any forward thinking ideas and many years on council, these three can only complain about not being told anything. Give all of the credit for all of these programs on the first posting to Riggs, O?’Brien, Wisniewski and Hackworth.
I also went back on the city?’s Web site and most of these issues were discussed in some form or another. I believe there were 5 ordinances in 2004 initiating these issues. I saw where they voted on these same five issues.
I wonder if Joyce kept them in the loop like they seem to be saying Judy should.
Then I have concerns with Brian Fox and how he NOW SEES RED FLAGS.
Did Brian see red flags when he was delivering central committee campaign signs to City employees on city time in 2002?
Did Brian see red flags when Sheriff DeMastry had 330 felony charges filed against him and he still supported the sheriff?’s re-election and today has a DeMastry Campaign sign hanging in his garage.
Did Brian see red flags when in 1997 Joyce Bushman bought an option to purchase the Strickland property that sits under the Diley Middle School? This was purely a city manager speculating on land within the very city where she controls the zoning director. I don?’t remember one word from Brian about this subject.
Did Brian see red flags when the former Mayor Gray came over and removed a business partner that had been driving drunk from a police cruiser? Not a word from Brian Fox.
Did Brian Fox see red flags when he stood next to the former Judge McAuliffe and welcomed him as the newest member of the Pickerington Lions Club (The judge was indicted three weeks later)? Did Brian see red flags when the judge had an affair with a court employee and the county had to paid $17,000 in a wrongful dismissal suit to this woman? Brian?’s buddy, Peterman gave the excuse that everyone runs around on their wife. Does Mrs. Peterman and Mrs. Fox realize how committed their husbands are?
Did Brian see red flags when his side kick and co-conspirator Maxey was re-appointed to council after losing and coming in dead last to David Shaver? Was Brian working to get a more ?“seasoned?” councilman back on council or was there something else in the works here? Was it control of the county Republican Party using city employees and Daryl?’s money?
After nearly eight years on the Pickerington City council all Brian was able to accomplish was the consent agenda. He couldn?’t get a smoking ban passed for those under the age of 18, mainly because it was a stupid idea.
Now all of a sudden Brian has his rose colored glasses on and he is seeing red flags everywhere. He is now Mr. Goodie two shoes. I suspect that Chicken Little had more evidence to conclude that the sky was falling than Brian Fox has to conclude that Hackworth is unethical.
