Wait -- Just wait...

It's not just $2.69 per gallon. The local stations reported $3.00 by Christmas. How much do you think Petermann has to pat for fuel for those 70-80 buses? By God, they are not taking that on the chin. They have investors to answer to. The transportation cost to the schools is going way up too. Guess who has to pay for that? That's right, you and me, Mr. and Mrs. Taxpayer.

Don't forget that this building levy is just step one. Brink says they will start in March or May for renewal operating levies. They say you are already paying it now, why not continue to pay? Plus they will probably need a little more for fuel and then some for ... and ...

I can't afford new taxes. I truly apologize for that. As a matter of fact, if I can reduce my tax debt by voting aginst an operating levy, I'll just have to make that decision at the polls.
