The southeast side of columbus is really going down hill. There are vacant shopping centers, beggars that work the Brice road parking lots of Home Depot, Lowes, Target. They come up to shoppers, tell their stories about their hard times and ask for money. I know that the economy is bad for some. I've never seen it like this in the 25 yrs that I've lived on the SE side.
