U-Turn

Susan,

Thanks for the feedback. We have requested exactly such a configuration. However, we have been told that there may be a problem on the ''Burger King'' side of General De Gaulle because of light poles. There will be a dedicated left turn/U-turn lane on our side of De Gaulle. The merge lane on the other side will be a challenge that we may not get because of space limitations. Thanks again for the feedback.

U-Turn

As my wife and I use Lennox to get onto DeGaulle (the safest way), we don't have a strong preference. A straight cut seems a bit dangerous. The U-Turn with a well sounds good. I wonder though, with the number of businesses that are on the other side, will a U-Turn increase accidents on DeGaulle heading toward the bridge? Course, since the current crossover is accident plagued because drivers are competing for going straight or turning left during a few seconds pause from oncoming DeGaulle traffic, the U-Turn sounds like the way to go.

U-Turn

Jerry,

Thanks very much for the input. Thus far, the majority view is favorable toward a U-turn. Very few seem in favor of a straight cut through.
