Has anyone else had the problem with the keypad box for the gate entry shocking the "you know what" out of you?? My husband and me have both complained about this problem and was told there was no problem. It seemed to go away for a short time and now is shocking again.
First off, I want to say welcome to our community's website. As a member of The Board of Director's we are aware of the shocking problem. We have checked this out extensively. The company has assured us that the keypad is grounded (also verified by the city). The only other thing that possibly has a bearing is the high voltage power lines nearby. Since you commented that both you and your husband are having problems, am I to understand that you don't have a remote? All residents were provided one remote for free and then a charge for the second remote--this certainly would solve your problem. Please e-mail one of the Board members if you would like to get a remote. Also, I apologize for deleting your original post, but I fixed it the best I could--learning curve on my part.
