Is there anything that can be done about people that do not mow their lawns. The people next to me have a jungle growing in there back yard and the people across from me do not even own a lawn mower. Is there someone that I can complain to to get them to cut it so,it doesn't look so bad?

Maybe the county?
I'd call the county, but only after I rang my neighbor's doorbell and asked if they were all right and if they needed some help with their lawn. :o) It may be that they're kind of house poor and haven't had a chance to mow. Perhaps they're having some family issues that have taken precedence. But, of course, it could be that they're really lazy. LOL! I'd ask them if they needed my assistance first (one time and only one time... they'd get the picture) and then if they said no and the trashy, jungle lawn persisted, I'd have to call the county. Good luck and I hope the jungle is tamed!

Lawn
Thanks for the response. I don't really feel I should have to ask them if they are having a problem. I know that there are more than enough people in either one of the houses that I mentioned to mow the lawn. I just think they are lazy and don't care about there property. It's unfortunate that people have that little respect for the things they have but, it's more unfortunate that I have to live next to people that don't care and it makes my property look bad. Is there anything that the Civic Association can do about it? What will the county do and who would I contact?
I am seriously getting fed up with this development and have started looking into selling my home because of all this nonsense.
