Recently, I witnessed two elderly women nearly fall on severely damaged sidewalks near St. Leo the Great Church. The sidewalks on Central Avenue and Benefit Street have not been in good repair since the road repairs in 1985 and early 1986. Unfortunately, I do not know if the city has the money to repair these Pleasant View sidewalks. However, if not repaired, this situation may be cause for the city to be burdened with a lawsuit.
Readers, have you ever fallen or tripped on a Pawtucket sidewalk on the east side of the city? Where did it occur?

PV is one area which has those fixup funds...maybe we just need to pass on the overlooked locations to Barney and others at planning.

Sidewalk Planner?

Do we need to have a sidewalk planner to survey the hotspots around the city to stop accidents from happening whether me or others...or is the city looking for another lawsuit...?
