Recognition Celebration and Bill Nesbitt Role Model Award

Sadly, Bill and Agnes are leaving Pawtucket to share living quarters with their kids in Lincoln. In order to properly celebrate their great contributions, we are planning a dinner probably at the Woodlawn Community Center. We are forming an ad hoc committee to plan the program and to commemorate permanently the mentorship for so many by creating the Nesbitt Youth Role Model Award program. It would seem fitting to recognize Woodlawn Youth, but perhaps it should also serve as a Citywide recognition in all of the Pawtucket Youth in each neighborhood because of Bill's belief and support of the NAP.

All of this is in the formative stages so we welcome all of your thoughts to implement this as a fitting way to leave the place they love and gave so much that we help give back a little bit to them.
I will serve as chair to get the project started, but look for all your help and ideas. Thanks! Call Arthur Plitt at 724-8915 for helping

2005 Nesbitt Good Neighbor Award

We had the party and had a few dollars left over to kick off the program for 2005. We are creating criteria for the award to be given on April 12th at the WNA annual meeting. What ideas, guideline and suggestions do you have for this program ...recognition on the award plaque, but also a membership in ? and/or a gift certificate etc?
