Hospice Care of Rhode Island
(HHCRI) recently honored its
corps of volunteers at a luncheon
for their years of service in
supporting HHCRI’s mission.

recognized for giving 500+
hours of service to Home &
Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
The President’s Council on
Service and Civic Participation
was established in 2003 to recognize
the valuable contributions
volunteers are making in
our communities and to
encourage more people to
serve. Arthur received the
highest level – the Gold Level
for 500+ hours of service. He
also was awarded his 10 year
pin for volunteering at HHCRI
for 10 years.

Rhode Island (HHCRI) has
been reaching out in our community
to care for people with
advanced and complex illnesses
for over 30 years. Started by
volunteers who saw the need to
improve end-of -life care in
Rhode Island, Home &
Hospice Care of Rhode Island
is a non-profit organization,
fully licensed by the Rhode
Island Department of Health
and Medicare to provide hospice
care. It is the largest hospice
in the state and the third
oldest in the country.
