Then and Now” –
A
forum celebration of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. birthday,
sponsored by The Rhode Island Civil Rights Roundtable.  Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Roots Café and
Cultural Center, 276 Westminster Street, Providence RI.  Guests will enjoy refreshments, music and a
birthday cake for Dr. King and the Roundtable.

Ministers Alliance
hosts MLK, Jr. Breakfast

The
Community Relations Council of the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island
invites community members to attend the Ministries Alliance of Rhode Island’s
Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast.  The
breakfast at Rhodes –on-the –Pawtuxet, 60 Rhodes Place, Cranston will feature
Reverend Dr. Kirk Byron as a keynote speaker. 
Breakfast begins at 8 a.m.; tickets are $35 per person; proceeds support

Fate Comes Knocking

annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. brunch at 2 p.m.  The play pays tribute to King and the unsung
heroes of the Civil Rights movement.
