What's the deal with the pool not opening? I know there is some damage but is it that bad that we can't use the pool? Please reply. This is not fair to all the children and families who live in this neighborhood. Also if it's going to be closed so that it can't be used then consider reducing our HOA dues. Come on. Let's get this done and please give us an update. Another option is that can't Castlerock HOA work out an agreement to use Carrington or Cascade pool?

Yes I posted about this previously and have yet to receive a response.  We just moved here and one of the top reasons was for the neighborhood pool.  I've already had a new roof and all new fencing done since the storm....I don't understand what the hold up is on the pool.....or at least why they haven't updated at all.

Yes, it was very bad.  The pool was scheduled to be replastered the week the tornado hit and so everything has been delayed.  We had to fix the fence, do the replastering, put in new ladders, fix the damage in the bathrooms, fix the keylock system, and the roof and the brick pillars.  They are working on it today and hopefully will be finished tomorrow. 

I'm sorry that it has taken a long time, but there are a lot more factors that have to be considered to take care of the pool area.  Since the pool is not located on a street, the heavy equipment and their trucks have to drive over the grass and the rain has prevented that for several days.  And there was a lot of damage to the pool and the pool area.  The pool had to be replastered, new ladders installed, new roof, bathrooms were damaged, the brick pillars on the patio area had to be repaired, the fence had to be replaced, and the deck had to be fixed.  They are working on it as fast as they can and as best as they can provided the weather conditions.  If everything goes as planned, they should finish tomorrow.
