Come visit our page and join the discussion about our concerns for peace and quiet in Manhattan neighborhoods which are so often given over to movie crews for shoots.  The filming brings with it money for the City... yes, but also noise pollution, air pollution, material damage, and street parking problems.

I agree there is a need for many people in the neighborhood to organize and be heard on this subject.  The mansion at 107th and Riverside Drive is not inhabited by its owner.  The place is being used for commercial purposes in a residentially zoned area.  The City should not be issuing permits for movies there... period.   It's becoming an ongoing thing, and if the owner finds it necessary to earn revenue to pay for the taxes on the building, he/she should sell the place.
